The ashwagandha plant - Withania somniferous – belongs to the Solanaceae, is also called "The Indian ginseng" and it is very popular among the Ayurveda medicine.
This is a small 35-70 cm bush with a main stalk, from which the branches come out in a radial shape, into a star shaped pattern. This plant's flowers are small and green, it's fruit are in red-orange shades.
